Casio G'zOne Commando unboxing

What's this? A tough smartphone on Pocketables? Yep, it's the Casio G'zOne Commando, a rugged Android device now available from Verizon Wireless.

I woke up today and this little guy was sitting on my front step, just waiting to take a swim (as you can see above). As you can probably imagine, there's a fun review coming up complete with drop tests and swimming lessons. Maybe we can make this thing fly, too. We'll see. In the meantime, let me show you what's in the box.

On the inside of the box, you'll find the Commando sitting next to an empty box for cushioning. It doesn't need it, but the cushioning is there.

Underneath the device itself (and its cushioning) are the ever-useful start-up guides.

And underneath the paperweight made of papers, you will find a micro-USB to USB cable and your wall adapter to charge the device.

The unboxing may have been uneventful but this phone and I still have plenty of playtime left together. Judging by how well the little guy can swim, we should be in for a nice little aquathlon. Fortunately for my pocketbook, I don't think he'll be winning any medals.
