Dell Streak owns 3% of US tablet market, says recent Nielsen survey

Streak-market-share It may not be an impressive statistic, especially when compared to the iPad's 82% share, but according to a Nielsen survey conducted last month, the Dell Streak has a 3% market share of tablets in the US.

Exactly how many people were polled and which Streak is being referenced is unknown, but it's not a bad showing considering that the Samsung Galaxy Tab came in second to the iPad by claiming only 4% of the market. This, of course, means that according to this survey, the Streak is the third most owned tablet in the US. Coming in fourth with 2% of the market was the Motorola Xoom (which I'm actually really enjoying and will be attempting to use as my laptop replacement soon).

Not bad at all, Dell Streak. Not bad at all.
