Frisbee Forever, a weird new game for the iPad

frisbee forever - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Frisbee Forever is a new game for the iPad that is somewhere in between a racing game, a flying game, a “get a perfect score” game (like Angry Birds and Cut the Rope) and…er…minigolf? You flick a Frisbee on its way, steer it through speed boost sting rings to keep going and try to collect coins as you steer clear of hazards like fans trying to blow you off course. The game has a 3D environment and is graphically well made, though the controls take some getting used to. The worst/best feature (depending on how you look at it) is that it’s a freemium game. It’s free, but you can buy in-game currency to buy new Frisbees and upgrades. You can also earn these coins by playing for free, but chances are you’ll buy a new iPad before you buy a new virtual Frisbee if the coin collection speed in the first few levels is any indication. You can just play it free though and treat it as a free game with above-average quality. Read Touch Arcade’s review here.
