Google makes Android Market a little more friendly

Google_android_marketOne of my biggest gripes with Android has always been the horrendous setup of the Market. Simply put, the layout was ugly and apps were pretty hard to find.

Now it seems that some of those problems have been solved, or at least made less problematic. Google, it seems, has started to roll out a slightly improved UI for the web version of Android Market, which includes new options for viewing screenshots of apps and navigating yourself around.

Even if Google didn't do much here, it's still a monumental move. One of the most important features of a smartphone platform is the app market. Android's was somewhat lackluster in my opinion. It's a good idea to refresh the UI from time to time, anyway; I get incredibly bored with the same look day in and day out. I can't even keep a wallpaper for more than a few hours on my Mac or any phone.
