HTC EVO 3D replacement housing available for $80

Htc-evo-3d-replacement-case Having second thoughts about buying the HTC EVO 3D now that you know its bootloader will be locked down?

HTC says it's now reviewing its policy about bootloaders in response to the public outcry, but assuming these new discussions don't conclude with a reversal of its original decision, there's a good chance that many previously interested customers will end up buying a different phone.

But since it's so hard to say goodbye to something you once held in such high regard and may have even idealized, you can now buy an EVO 3D housing (front, back, and battery cover) for $80. No contract required. You can even get one of those new EVO 3D cases to protect your new empty shell and walk around pretending you got the phone early.

Or you could buy the real EVO 3D when it's released and just bookmark the links below for future reference. You never know when you'll go stir crazy and start slamming your phone around thinking you can crack open the bootloader yourself.
