Sprint promoting HTC EVO 3D via email, release date announcement must be coming soon
If the HTC EVO 3D will in fact be released next Friday (June 4) as many seem to believe, Sprint sure is cutting it close to tell people about it. Other than tech-minded folk like us, no one else knows the phone even exists, let alone that it might be let loose next week.
There's a rumor going around that the carrier could announce the phone's release date and confirm its price tomorrow, and while there were actually identical whispers that obviously turned out to be untrue last week, what makes the possibility more plausible this time is that Sprint has just sent out emails with the EVO 3D in the spotlight. "We're proud to welcome the newest addition to our EVO family," the newsletter says . . . and then directs anyone anxious to "find out more" to the teaser page that we've all already bookmarked for daily refreshes.
