Tutorial explains how to run Ubuntu on Android tablets

- for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

The guys at XDA has been at it again, this time coming up with a way to run Ubuntu 11.04 on Android tablets (in this case the Xoom). The instructions naturally involve a lot of messing around with command line interfaces and whatnot (it’s Linux, after all) but it should result in access to Ubuntu on your tablet. I say “access” since this used VNC to access the OS rather than replace the existing Android install. Personally I’d rather use some sort of computer remote control app (and access Windows rather than Ubuntu), but I’m sure someone out there has a use for this hack.
