Asus EeePad Slider and Transformer 3G set to launch this August in the UK
Now that most can finally get their hands on the Transformer, it looks like Asus is getting ready to roll out another Android tablet, the Slider. In what was announced on the Asus UK Facebook page, the “Eee Pad Slider coming to the UK in Aug, as is the 3G Transformer. We’ll provide specific details on where to buy and exact date of availability nearer the time. Thank you for being so patient.” So for those of you boring of the same Android tablets being released weekly, here’s your chance at yet another tablet from a company that’s trying to differentiate themselves in the market. The products speak for themselves, and if the price stays in the $500-800 range, then we could have another solid Asus tablet on our hands.
