Battlefield: Bad Company 2 now on the iPad

bfbc2 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Normally the big game releases on the iPad involve Gameloft copying some sort of big title and making their own version. For once, one such release is the the official version, not a copy. Many of you probably know Battlefield Bad Company 2 from consoles and PC where it’s been out for ages, or maybe even the iPhone version of this game which has also been out for a while. The game (some version of it, anyways) is now available on the iPad and should give FPS lovers something to do for a while. I’ve had a bit of a falling out with FPS games myself so I won’t be dropping $9.99 on this one (might give it a shot if it drops to $.099 in a sale), but let us know what you think if you do.

  • Something to do for a while indeed. The price is happy, but in my humble CoD:BO-15th-prestige-and-need-to-get-a-life opinion, every minute spent playing FPS on anything without buttons is one minute less until you break it over your knee in frustration. Angry Birds, Farm Story and *insert random mindless point and get xp game* all work well on devices without tactile input devies, because their games so simple even a monkey can play it. Not that a monkey can’t play FPS, but it takes a little more then the press of a nonopposable thumb.

Anyhow, welcome back to me, enough of the rant!
