Dell Streak comes to Pakistan via Mobilink

Dell Streak Pakistan Launch

Just when you thought the Dell Streak international rollout was over and done with, Pakistan carrier Mobilink throws a curve ball and announces they are picking up the Streak.

All the general specs at first glance appear to be the same with two noteable exceptions, the lack of true fine GPS support and 3G. The specs listing on the Mobilink page only lists A-GPS support.

Furthermore, the Streak is only available at certain Customer Care Centers (full list available at the Mobilink link below) for RS $49,999, which equates to about $583.88 for those of you who were curious. That is shockingly high in my opinion, even though that price tag includes three months of EDGE data (2GB cap), a leather case, and an additional battery.

The Streak launches this month, so let me be the first to welcome our Middle-Eastern friends to the device we love so much!

I am sure the price is after custom duties.

not to nitpick but Pakistan is in south Asia, not in the middle east

  • I am from Pakistan and I think I would know if I was a middle eastern. No, Pakistan is NOT in middle east. Its in South Asia, which makes me South Asian. Also, according to the link to the map, it shows asia and middle east as same. According to the map, Iraq is in Asia lol. Is it? NO its NOT. Even Afghanistan is in Asia, not in middle east.
