Dell's new $80 million ad push features Streak 7

Dell Streak 7
As some of you may know, my day-to-day line of work is in the advertising industry and I subscribe to numerous publications, the most noteable being AdAge. With that, imagine my surprise when I spotted the Dell Streak 7 aftering reading an article about the company's latest marketing push that was launched this month bearing the title "Dell: The Power to Do More."

Now we're all familiar with Dell's infamous lack of marketing support for the Streak 5 back when it launched.  The only real way to find out anything about our beloved device back then was to follow the #Dellstreak hashtag on Twitter. Maybe Dell finally got the hint that in order to have a successful device launch, you need to advertise it. Imagine that!

Hopefully this extended ad push will lead to more general support for the Streak family and open the doors for DJ_Steve to get an even more solid build of GingerStreak out to the masses.

Granted I don't speak for everyone, but I'm definitely glad to see the Streak family getting more support from the folks out in Round Rock.
