Motorola has always been a little . . . arrogant. It wouldn't be so bad if they produced quality products like they once did, but ever since the introduction of MOTOBLUR, things have certainly gone downhill, both in terms of quality and sales. What has gone "uphill," however, is the number of returned devices.
But apparently, CEO Sanjay Jha thinks that most of those returns have to do with the quality of Android's applications, rather than his company's hardware and software offerings. In fact, he's blaming a whopping 70% of smartphone returns on that factor alone. Now, I've got other thoughts about why people would return their CLIQs and their Droid Pros, but obviously, they're different than those of Motorola. This is rather sad, because they desperately need to get rid of MOTOBLUR.
Unfortunately, I don't foresee that happening anytime soon, especially with today's remarks.
