Nexus 3 coming from LG?

Gsmarena_001

LG had been relatively late to the Android game, at least in the US. There have been a few devices, but still, things have been quiet from the electronics giant in this category.

Until today. There has been speculation that LG may be the chosen manufacturer for the next Nexus device, and it seems quite possible that may be true. Looking at the picture above, you can see that the newest addition to the Optimus family looks very similar to the Nexus S. You've got a microUSB connector on the bottom, and beside that is what looks like possibly a headphone jack.

I hope that this is true. It's nice to see Google giving all the big manufacturers a chance to prove their stuff with exciting new pieces of hardware. I hope LG can bring some of their Optimus 2X's hardware to this new device, because then it will be one incredibly hot phone.
