Olivetti OliPad 110, a Honeycomb tablet for Italy

olipad - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

With every Honeycomb tablet being practically identical these days, it’s hard to win through with any single tablet. The Italian company Olivetti however has perhaps found the solution by releasing a tablet in their home country of Italy. The reason this matters is that many of the more commonly known tablets can be hard to find in other countries, especially in-store. If Olivetti can get their tablet into stores where international companies can’t, they might just succeed.

The tablet itself runs Honeycomb, has 16GB of memory, 10-inch 1280 x 800 display, Tegra 2 chipset, microHDMI, microUSB and dual cameras. In other words, exactly like all the others. Price isn’t known yet but Notebook Italia expects the tablet to sell for €399.
