What better time to try out the 3D HD video recording capabilities of my new HTC EVO 3D than at my local Fourth of July fireworks show in Springfield, Illinois? If you're not already reading this on your EVO 3D now, then grab it right away and fire up the above video in your 3D-capable YouTube player. For anyone else who is still living their mobile life in two dimensions, you can see another video that I shot in 2D on my EVO below.

Do you think the fireworks in 3D pop just a little bit more? Happy Fourth!

More fireworks, in 2D

  • Wow. The Evo 3D’s camera looks a lot better, even in 2D. I recorded the fireworks last night with my Evo 4G and it looks like poop compared to this.

  • wow.. this is awesome video in 3d. I am slowly liking this 3d stuff more and more. It was something I thought was just a gimmick and I would never need but with video like this. Its a nice plus. I took a picture of my son at a water park in 3d and it was awesome. My son loved it.

  • Awesome Video I just watched it on my phone. I am liking the 3D too and thought it was something I wouldn’t need. Bought the phone just for the specs but the 3D is cool.
