Apple App Store soars past 15 billion downloads

Iphone-apps

Apple's App Store has been open for business for about three years now and in that time has had quite a few achievements. 100,000 apps, 10 billion downloads, you name it; basically every milestone that makes sense to announce has been by the man in black (and blue jeans.)

Well, today is another one for Jobs and company. Apple just announced that that it has surpassed 15 billion downloads for the App Store. This is a combination of all apps. In total, the store has 425,000 apps and over 100,000 iPad-specific apps. The iPad's numbers are pretty big for even us, should an awesome 7-inch iPad ever come along. (We can dream.)

What are your experiences with the App Store? Do you even have any? I know there are plenty of people who simply refuse to use iOS products, so let's hear it in the comments.
