Asus EEE Pad Slider shows up in Romanian video
At the beginning of each year we see tons of gadgets at CES which all promise to knock our socks off “soon”, and then nothing happens. As we close in on the end of July and start the final 5 months of the year, we still haven’t seen devices such as the Acer A100 or Asus EEE Slider release to market. The latter just waved a quick “I’m still alive” to the world though in a Romanian video where some guy got his hands on it. The voice track is of no use to most of the world but the video of the tablet is interested enough in itself. Nothing we didn’t already know about, but it’s nice to see that it actually exists and that the keyboard functionality both looks extremely slick and work well. While this does add some thickness to the device, I’m sure there are more than a few people out there who would gladly live with that if it means they get to have a keyboard available at all times.
