A leaked Best Buy advertisement has shown us what could be the reason behind the recent silence: Motorola has been redesigning the Droid Bionic, and as a result did not have any specs or a release date to give out.
As you can see from the flyer on the left, the new Droid Bionic will feature a flatter, more square design reminiscent of the original Droid. The advertisement also highlights the device's dual-core processor, dual cameras, wireless sync, 4G, and HDMI mirroring capabilities.
Even though this news doesn't give us a release date, it should re-ignite interest in a device that I think certainly deserves it. Between its heritage and its respectable spec sheet, it should be a phone people consider when looking for a premium Android device. Of course, it would be much easier to consider if Motorola would actually release this "all-powerful, unstoppable machine."
