BlackBerry PlayBook Android emulator leaked
The BlackBerry PlayBook may be a little old, but it still can't stay out of the spotlight for long here at Pocketables. Back when it was introduced, Mike Lazaridis stated that eventually, the 7-inch tablet would be able to emulate Android apps to further its usability. Well, while still not officially announced, you can still get that emulator. It's been leaked.
It's built on top of Android 2.3, also known as Gingerbread, and isn't really Virtual Android. It's basically a stripped down version that is being emulated, and only gives you the bare essentials so you can, indeed, run your Android apps.
If you're not quite fascinated enough with the App World on the PlayBook, you can snatch the emulator here.
