CNET names HTC EVO 3D most popular gadget

You can safely file this under "things that don't really matter much but are still kind of cool," but it looks like CNET has recently named the HTC EVO 3D as the most popular gadget.

In a video that presents the week's five most popular gadgets based on page views and video streams, the EVO 3D beat out both the HTC Sensation 4G from T-Mobile and the Samsung Droid Charge from Verizon.

Also noteworthy is that CNET Executive Editor Molly Wood had plenty of criticism to dish out to the other devices on the list, but had only positive things to say about the EVO 3D:

Oh yeah.  I mean, we loved the original HTC EVO on Sprint, and the EVO 3D gets, well yeah, 3D. But that's not really the headline here. It's a dual core 1.2 GHz phone, it has a bigger battery that actually delivers decent life, and it has glasses-free 3D and can take photos and videos in 3D, if you care about that kind of thing. Some people do! Plus with Verizon and AT&T getting rid of unlimited data, and T-Mobile throttling data speeds after a certain amount of usage, Sprint's unlimited data plans are looking pretty good – just like this phone.

It's always great to hear other people talk so highly of the EVO 3D, but in any case, be sure to check out the full video below, which is very interesting in its own right.
