Could 3D Netflix streaming come to HTC EVO 3D?
You can safely file this under pure speculation at this point, but Netflix could be getting ready to offer a 3D streaming library to users of the HTC EVO 3D. This comes after Nintendo's confirmation in a press release today that the official Netflix app for their portable 3DS gaming system will soon offer additional 3D streaming content, making the 3DS the first device that will be able to stream Netflix in 3D.
While nothing has been announced concerning upcoming availability on the EVO 3D, it would not be a huge jump in logic to theorize that perhaps one of the reasons behind this delay is that Netflix is working on obtaining and optimizing 3D content for the EVO. And since the rights to 3D content are more expensive to obtain, this might also partially explain the company's recently announced rate hike.
