Delayed until September, HTC EVO 3D still arriving in the UK

HTC EVO 3D Our UK readers probably have shed a few tears over yesterday's news that Vodafone will not carry the GSM HTC EVO 3D. But now it's time to turn that frown upside down, as HTC has confirmed that the European EVO 3D will arrive in the UK in September, two months after it was initially dated to launch.

Now there has been no statement made as to exactly why there has been delays with the EVO 3D. All assumptions are pinning the issue on the addition of the GSM radios to the device as the primary reason considering that in the United States, people have been enjoying the phone since June. Whatever the reason may be, it definitely has ruffled the feathers of  people anticipating the phone's arrival.

When asked who will be stocking the phone, HTC said:

We can confirm that the HTC EVO 3D will be available to UK customers through Carphone Warehouse from September 2011.

Currently on the Carphone Warehouse site you will see the HTC EVO 3D listed as coming soon with a pre-register page ready to take names and numbers of all those looking to pick up one of the hottest phones with a 3D screen.
