HTC confirms that official EVO 3D kickstand case will not be released
Over the past few weeks, HTC EVO 3D owners who preordered the official kickstand case from third-party retailers have been receiving emails about their orders being canceled. Why? Because according to the retailers, the case itself is being canceled.
HTC has confirmed to G&E that this is, unfortunately, 100% true. Here it is straight from the EVO's maker:
HTC will not be releasing a kickstand case for EVO 3D.
The reason for the company's change of heart is unknown, but whatever it is, the end result is the same: no official kickstand case. Sprint and many other sites/shops are selling other kickstand-equipped cases, of course, but what you see above will never make it off the screen and into your hands (much less onto your EVO 3D).
