Hulu Plus updates to support HTC EVO 4G with streaming movies and television

HuluPlusEVO It was three weeks ago that Hulu Plus was announced for an early roll out onto six Android phones, and today the HTC EVO 4G joins in on the fun with support as well.

As stated on their blog:

We're extremely excited to offer Hulu Plus subscribers the opportunity to watch premium content on these smartphones when, how and where they want it.

It is nice to see that Hulu has taken an active approach to rolling out support to as many phones as it can in a somewhat timely fashion. There is no word yet as to when the HTC EVO 3D will be getting support (or why it's not already supported), but hopefully it will be in the coming weeks.

For those unfamiliar, Hulu Plus streams movies and television shows to devices. Currently the service is free for one month to new customers and then is $7.99 a month. Of course, if want to just enjoy Hulu.com from your EVO's browser and not pay a dime for all the content, you can do that too (depending on ROM).
