New Android Market finally rolls out for HTC EVO

New-market Remember the new Android Market we reviewed for you several weeks ago? In case you didn't jump the gun and download the leaked version early, it looks this major update to the Market is finally rolling out to the HTC EVO 4G, EVO 3D, and EVO View 4G.

If you haven't received it yet, the new official version is 3.0.27, while the leaked version was 3.0.26. I haven't noticed any difference between the two versions, which means that most likely there are only minor behind-the-scenes updates that improve performance across a number of different devices.

To recap, this latest version brings movie rentals and book purchases to the masses, in addition to some much needed visual enhancements. While I'm still unsure of how I feel about the changes to the layout, I do have to admit that it's much easier to find new apps and browse what's popular.

Have you received the update yet? What do you think of the various changes and enhancements?
