Seidio Innocell Super Extended Life battery HTC EVO 3D comes into view
One of the more intriguing HTC EVO 3D accessories teased by Seidio last month was the Innocell Super Extended Life battery. All we really knew back then was that the battery existed and was coming soon; capacity, photos, and price were all unknown.
Today we can consider one of those mysteries solved, with photos of the battery and replacement soft-touch back cover now appearing on the Seidio website.
The capacity is still listed as TBA but as you see from the image at right, the use of "Super" in the battery's name certainly seems appropriate. The upcoming Innocell appears to double the EVO 3D's thickness, while covering the phone's trademark red camera ring and ridged texture.
The sloped battery door looks somewhat backpack-like to me, with the areas flanking the cameras acting as the straps and the bottom half looking like the bag itself. A more contoured back, without the obvious square corners at the bottom, would have made it blend in better.
