TouchWiz pulled from Italian Galaxy Tabs, now available as a hack-it-yourself

- for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Part of the Android experience is to see what the manufacturer of your particular tablet has to offer in terms of cust0m interfaces. For Samsung that’s TouchWiz, a software package that has been absent from the Galaxy Tab 10.1″ so far with promises of being added in an update. Google+Reader” target=”_blank”>Liliputing reports that you don’t have to wait for the update though, as the Italian Galaxy Tabs ship with it already installed – and of course someone has pulled the files and found a way to get them installed on non-TouchWiz Tabs. As with most Android hacks, it requires a fair bit of “tinkering” and is not recommended for Android newbies, and with the software in place on tablets in Italy it’s likely the update for the others isn’t far off. See the Liliputing post if yous till want to give it a try.
