Verizon stores now have Motorola Droid 3 in stock [Update: Better link]

Droid 3

Exactly one week ago today, Verizon and Motorola announced the Motorola Droid 3. Now, a week after that announcement, you can head into your local Verizon (or any other electronics) store and pick one up.

If you need a refresher, the third iteration of the original Droid line features a 4-inch qHD display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard with a dedicated number row. And for a QWERTY slider, it's deathly thin, too.

If you do decide to run down to your local electronics seller, you can pick one up on contract for $199.99. It's most definitely worth it in my opinion; the specs are fantastic, and since other phones that have some serious issues sell for $100 more, it just seems like an absolute steal to me.

Update: Here's a better link for you to view the Droid 3 on Verizon's website.
