Get faster data speeds on your Nexus S
If you picked up the Nexus S for AT&T, and the data download and upload has you wanting for more speed, then you're in luck provided you're willing to void your warranty to root your phone and flash a faster modem radio.
I used the one-click root over at XDA, which was pretty easy to do, and am now getting some good speeds with the KB3 modem radio. In fact, I'm actually getting pretty much the same speeds on the Nexus S that I previously got on the Motorola Atrix (so-called) 4G.
