HTC EVO 3D drops all the way to $19.99 at Wirefly

Two days ago, we reported that Wirefly was selling the HTC EVO 3D for only $49.99 to new Sprint customers. We thought that was insanely low, and many of you wondered how a new phone with such incredible specs could be priced so low.

Well, Wirefly now has the EVO 3D superphone listed at a jaw-dropping $19.99 for new customers, and $69.99 for eligible upgrades or additional lines on a family plan. (Previously, the $69.99 upgrade price was only available on the Wirefly Friends and Family site.)

As always, these prices include free standard FedEx shipping, although activation or upgrade fees do apply.

What is behind these recent price drops and insane deals? Even the HTC Sensation 4G on T-Mobile, the almost-identical-sans-3D cousin to the EVO 3D, is still listed at $99.99 on Wirefly. Interestingly, Amazon Wireless also still has the EVO 3D listed at $99.99, although they have been known to go toe-to-toe with Wirefly's price cuts in the past. It will therefore be interesting to see whether Amazon responds with a similar deal, or whether Wirefly has finally found that sweet spot that no one else can come close to touching.
