Is this Samsung's first Mango Windows Phone?

Samsung-omnia-7-300x270 We've had our fair share of Windows Phone devices in here to review. In fact, we even reviewed the Samsung Focus a while back, but that phone wasn't running Mango. Now, it seems like we have a good idea of the first Samsung device to do just that, and it's looking pretty nice.

The "Omnia W" has a nice look, sure, but it's probably one that you've already seen. It's actually very identical to the Omnia 7, Samsung's previous flagship Windows Phone 7 phone.

Inside, a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and a 5MP rear shooter reside, making this phone kind of outdated already. The screen isn't all that great, either, measuring 3.7-inches at a resolution of 800 x 480.

Either way, it's not the hardware that makes the story here; it's the software. Windows Phone Mango promises to be a nice update to the original WP7 software, and I know we're very excited to see what comes out of it.
