ShootMe updated with better support for HTC EVO 3D

Shootme-screenshot If you were one of the many who were experiencing issues with distorted or discolored screenshots taken with ShootMe on the HTC EVO 3D, you should be happy to find out that it was just updated today and now seems to be working perfectly.

ShootMe is currently at version 0.8.1 and now includes "support for newer (qHD) phones" such as the EVO 3D. It also requires root.

In addition to the standard shake method of taking screenshots, ShootMe also allows users to shout at their EVOs or block the light sensors to capture whatever is currently on the screen. (Just don't shout too loudly at your phone while your significant other is trying to sleep.)

The developer is also working on bringing video recording capabilities to higher-end devices, so let's keep our fingers crossed that this feature makes its way to the EVO 3D, as well.

You can pick up the latest version of ShootMe in the Market right now.
