Skytex Primer Pocket 4.3-inch Android device available for $89
The majority of Android-related posts we write and put up are about smartphones that run it. However, once in a while, we read a piece of news regarding a smaller Android tablet, and when we do, it's almost always guaranteed to end up here on Pocketables.
The Skytex Primer Pocket is a 4.3-inch Android tablet, making it a bit smaller than many other Android tablets we have seen, but in line size-wise with the larger smartphones that also run Google's OS. That screen has a resolution of 480 x 272, driven by a 600MHz MIPS Xburst processor, and a 400MHz DSP (digital signal processor) for video. 256MB of RAM help those two processors out, while 4GB of storage also reside on the inside.
Of course, for such a small price, there are some limitations. The biggest one of those is the lack of the Android Market, but in lieu of that, GetJar is preinstalled. You're also welcome to install other third-party app marketplaces, as well.
