Transparent Market, Gmail, and more available for HTC EVO

If transparent applications on your HTC EVO are your thing, then fernando sor is possibly your new best friend. He has produced a set of transparent themed Google apps, a see-through Pandora, a Facebook app as thick as their concern for your privacy, and a themed reader for the XDA app.

There's no functional difference to these apps when compared to their official counterparts. All they do is show off your background wallpaper instead of white or black space. Some wallpapers can make things look rather terrible, but the transparency is still quite cool.

While most of the apps should present no issue, installing the modified Android Market could come with potential risk, so make sure and do a Nandroid backup just in case Google decides to get funky in the future with Market mods.

You may also need to be rooted for the Facebook and Market replacements to work.
