ASUS Eee Slider finally given a release date

ASUS Eee Pad Slider - for some reason we don't have an alt tag hereAfter being debuted at CES 2011, the ASUS Eee Pad Slider has been pretty dormant. It surfaced in June in an announcement made by Asus, which said that it would be released in the UK last July. In July we saw a Romanian video which featured the tablet in all its glory. However a recent announcement by ASUS has started the wheel up again, and this time we have more details. The Eee Pad Slider features a fully attached slidable QWERTY keyboard, a 10-inch screen, runs Android 3.1 (upgradeable to 3.2), a 1.2MP front facing camera with a 5MP on the back, as well as a plethora of other specs. Predicted to hit the market at $475USD, it should start hitting the shelves by the end of the month. Its sibling, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, has been released for several months now, and since they were both debuted at CES, it has been a long time coming for the Slider.
