BlackBerry PlayBook price cut now live in the US, only $299 at Staples
Just the other day, RIM slashed the price on the BlackBerry PlayBook in Canada. And now, those in the US can take advantage of the discount and grab the 16GB model for $399.
Staples is also taking off an additional $100, which brings the total down to $299!
At this price, the PlayBook becomes much more attractive and will make it easier for people to overlook its shortcomings. We reviewed the device when it was released and were less than impressed by its dependence on a BlackBerry phone for its most important features, but if you've been waiting for a good deal on it anyway, now is the time to pick one up.
