Canadian HTC EVO 3D users can now rent movies in the Android Market

Google-video If you are one of those Canadians lucky enough to get your hands on the HTC EVO 3D from Rogers, you should know that you are now among the even more lucky ones who can rent movies in the Android Market.

Of course, you must have the new Market on your phone first, before you can rent anything. And although many users are still reporting that they have not yet been officially updated, you can still install it yourself the unofficial way, if this is the case for you.

Additionally, keep in mind that Google has blocked the playback of rented movies on rooted devices, but – again – there are ways around that.

If you've been anticipating this feature since it was first announced a while ago for US users, the wait is finally over. Sure, it was a long time coming, but slow progress is better than no progress. So what is the first movie you plan on renting?
