Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus coming to T-Mobile
The follow-up to Samsung's 7-inch Galaxy Tab, rumored to be called the Galaxy Tab Plus, appears to be heading to T-Mobile with some 4G HSPA+ built in for those who crave 4G speeds. And for those the prefer to just have WiFi, it looks like there will be a WiFi only version as well.
At this time there is no release date or price range for the upcoming device, but rather than focus on what we don't know, let's talk about what we do instead.
Based on previous leaks and some new information, the Galaxy Tab Plus has a 1024 x 600 screen resolution and Cortex A9 processor. It will be running Android Honeycomb 3.2 with Samsung's TouchWiz UI, which has some nice features.
It won't be as slick and thin as the Galaxy Tab 7.7 that was shown and annouced at IFA, but still looks to be slimmer than the original Tab.
I think this will be a nice addition to the 7-inch tablet market, which is on the rise, and look forward to the official announcement from T-Mobile.
