Get Beautiful Widgets free on your HTC EVO from GetJar
G&E has mentioned Beautiful Widgets, one of the top paid apps on the Android Market, several times in the past year. Whether you are trying to keep your HTC EVO's home screen clean or trying to make AOSP look more like Sense, Beautiful Widgets is a bad ass app.
Normally, it runs around $3. For people like me, $3 doesn't seem like a lot of money, but it's enough for some to hesitate when buying. Will there ever be a solution to those who want Beautiful Widgets without having to pay, especially since the developers have decided to remove the Lite (free) version?
Thanks to the alternative market GetJar, yes! You can now get it completely free. All you need to do is visit m.getjar.com on your EVO's browser. Navigate to the bottom of the page, and you will see a small lightning bolt next to "Quick Download." On the next page, enter the code: 231883. That's it!
