Kobo bringing 7-inch Vox Android tablet to market

Kobo_vox I'd like to introduce you to the Week of the 7-inch Tablets here on Pocketables. If you need a refresher, we've already learned about the Toshiba Thrive 7-inch, the Amazon Kindle Fire, and Huawei's MediaPad-esque T-Mobile tablet

Not to be left out of the party, Kobo, a popular eBook reader manufacturer, has decided to release a 7-inch tablet into the market, as well. The Vox, as it is called, runs Android, but we don't know which version yet. In fact, we are pretty scarce on details as of right now, other than the resolution of the 7-inch panel, which is 1024 x 600, and 8GB of internal storage.

Still, it's really cool to see that more and more manufacturers are deciding to go down the pocketable tablet route. I guess 7-inch tablets are certainly on the rise, after all.
