In Amazon's never-ending quest to be the low cost leader (and tick off a lot of app developers in the process), we have yet another awesome Appstore deal to share with you: PrinterShare Mobile Print, normally $12.95, is currently Amazon's free app of the day. This is great for HTC EVO 4G owners, who have no built-in way to print documents directly from their phones, and it offers some extra functionality for EVO 3D and EVO View 4G users, as well.
PrinterShare Mobile Print offers the ability to print any document (DOC, DOCX, XLS, XSLX, PPT, PPTX, PDF, TXT) that is on your device's SD card to a connected network printer over WiFi. And while EVO 3D and View 4G owners already have the ability to connect to WiFi printers, this app offers a few extra perks:
- Printing via Bluetooth
- Printing to shared printers on PCs or Macs
- Remote printing over the internet to any computer you choose (requires set up on the receiving computer)
