Superuser 3.0 out of beta and ready to supercharge your HTC EVO

Superuser3-screenshot Good news for all rooted HTC EVO users: Superuser 3.0 is finally out of beta and can be updated through the Android Market, as long as you already have a previous version installed on your device. (Most custom ROMs and root methods include Superuser, so most readers should be able to update through the Market.)

Superuser 3.0 brings a massive overhaul to the entire app from version 2.3.6. A few new features include a completely redesigned user interface, speed increases, and a ton of bug fixes that will fix various force close problems and other issues.

The premium ("Elite") version of Superuser also now includes the ability to back up and restore apps, as well as PIN capabilities. Other enhancements include the ability to keep Superuser out of your recent apps list when Ghost Mode is enabled, and the ability to use the PIN activity for setting the code for Ghost Mode.

As all rooted HTC EVO users know, Superuser is a prerequisite if you want to enjoy any of our must have root apps and get the most out of your rooted device. And this latest update makes it even better.
