Apple Chairman and former CEO Steve Jobs passes away

Steve-jobs-passes

I think the picture says it all. Today, Steve Jobs, former CEO and Chairman of Apple, lost his battle to cancer and passed away.

No matter your thoughts about the company, Mr. Jobs reinvented most of everything that we use today. Starting with the personal computer, and moving on to the iPhone and the iPad, he brought a vision that many have tried to copy, but no one has succeeded in doing.

Please, keep your comments respectful. Apple, the Jobs family, and tech fans around the world know that we have lost one of the most important people that the industry has ever seen.

A marketing genius? Yes that he was. How ever Steve himself relied on others like the Woz to bring technology to life. But sadly I will never believe anything Apple did was original and not built on the work of the giants that walked before him. For the most part I believe Steve didn’t die of cancer as much as he died of severe “Megalomania”. His obsession with complete control of every aspect of the business wasn’t healthy either and I don’t think enshrining him in extreme hero status serves his family or the company well at all. His death just proves how really mortal he was! RIP Steve Jobs just the same!!!
