Control nearly everything root with ROM Toolbox

You've rooted your HTC EVO 3D or 4G and now it's time for the serious stuff. You need to make Nandroids, you want to overclock for games and underclock for battery life, download and install different ROMs, backup and restore your apps and data, explore and manage all aspects of the file system, and freeze unwanted spyware.

Additionally you might want to Zipalign your APKs, fix broken permissions, move unmovable apps to SD, terminate and view any process, download/create and run root scripts, block access to ads and sites your teenager might not need to be on, change fonts, flash new boot animation, change the battery icon on the fly, modify the splash screen, change memory management options, or perhaps speed up your SD card.

Enter ROM Toolbox. There are a host of other things it can do; I've listed only about a third. It's a one-stop Swiss Army knife of ROM management tools, and so far the new version looks great. There are some options that require the pro version, which is $5 in the Market, but they're clearly marked on the features list.

For someone learning the root world or needing several of the tools, this is a great to have. My only suggestion is to learn how to make and restore Nandroids on your own first. You're given enough tools here to shoot yourself nicely in the foot and if you don't know how to restore a Nandroid you made with ROM Toolbox, you might be out of luck.
