Get even more goodies from Ice Cream Sandwich on your HTC EVO

We just keep getting our hands on more and more goodies from Ice Cream Sandwich, which you can of course subsequently put on your HTC EVO. In case the leaked Google+ and Google Music updates weren't enough for you, you can now test drive version 3.2.0 of the Android Market, as well as an updated analogue clock widget.

While there doesn't seem to be much in the way of new features, the newest Market most likely brings with it various bug fixes, as well as the obvious added support for ICS. It's also worth noting that this update might not be installable on top of your current version of the Market. If you get an error when installing it, like I did, you'll be forced to install it using Root Explorer (after making a Nandroid backup in case you boink anything up). That means, of course, that you may have to be rooted; full instructions can be found at the link below if you have to go this route.

The clock widget, on the other hand, definitely doesn't require root. It is essentially the same as the AOSP Gingerbread widget that you'll get in ROMs such as Cyanogen, other than including some nice visual updates. If you're wanting to give it a spin, developer Juliojs was kind enough to create his own version and put it in the Android Market for easy installation.

If you ask me, Gingerbread is certainly starting to seem a bit frostier!
