Granted, this is still two weeks after both products were originally planned to be released, but due to the circumstances of that week, both Google and Samsung decided that it just wasn't the time to release anything competitive.
But, now that two weeks have passed, the tech world is moving on. Ice Cream Sandwich and the Nexus Prime are set to hit the market sometime in early November, so a late October announcement might actually have helped them, anyway. It gives competitors less time to ramp up their products based on what is truly released on Wednesday.
In any case, I'm stoked to see how Ice Cream Sandwich will bridge the gap between Gingerbread and Honeycomb. Are you?
