HTC filed suit in September against Apple with four patent violation notifications in an effort to knock the wind out of the company's sails, which it did for a time.
Yesterday, an International Trade Commission administrative law judge made an "initial determination" that dismisses all of HTC's claims against Apple, finding no violations. While this is a preliminary ruling and will not be brought up before the full court until February, it is bad news for the continued safety of our EVOs, HTC products, and our Samsung friends who are in their own fight with Apple.
HTC stock has been taking a beating the past 5 months and lost 4.7% on the news at close of trading.
