Preorders start for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

7plus_02

Samsung has went all out with its Galaxy branding, naming everything from its flagship Android smartphones to its entire range of Android tablets (pocketable or otherwise) the Galaxy something-or-other. It seems the manufacturer is going full steam ahead with that naming scheme, too: the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is now available for preorder.

The Tab 7.0 Plus beats out its predecessor in almost every way, save for maybe the screen size. That screen has a resolution of 1024 x 600, and it also boasts a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, up to 32GB of internal storage, and 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity. In addition to all that, the Plus also includes a 3MP camera for the back, and a 2MP one up front. All of this comes in a package that is run by Android 3.2 Honeycomb, and makes this Tab one of the first 7-inch tablets to be able to run Honeycomb (not that Honeycomb matters much anymore.)

Like I already said, preorders have started for Sammy's latest tablet, and you can place one for yourself at Amazon. $399 will get you the 16GB version, while spending an extra Benjamin will double the storage space to 32GB.

I can see some potential for the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, especially since Ice Cream Sandwich was just officially unveiled yesterday. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on it; will you?
