As a refresher, the Springboard is really just the Huawei Mediapad with T-Mobile branding. So, it includes all the Mediapad's headline features, like a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1280 x 800 display, and Android 3.0 Honeycomb. It will also feature dual cameras, HDMI output, and both 3G and HSPA+ on T-Mobile.
Obviously this is a nice piece of hardware, but while T-Mobile promises that the price will be "sweet," they have yet to actually say what it is. Considering the Mediapad's $500 off-contract price, I would venture to guess that $200 would be T-Mobile's price, but it is possible that they were able to offer it even lower than that, perhaps at $99.
A low price would be nice, but even without it I think this device could shine. Either way, we will keep you updated on the price when November 16 finally rolls around.
