Get Quickoffice Pro free from Amazon Appstore today

Quickoffice Pro, an award-winning app that comes with a hefty $15 price tag, is available for free today from the Amazon Appstore.

The app allows you to create and edit Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, and Word documents and store them on the phone, Google Docs, Dropbox, or a number of other locations. It also includes a file manager that lets you browse ZIPs like you would folders, view PDFs, and take pictures with your camera and paste them into documents.

If you're in a profession where you reasonably might need to edit a document, spreadsheet, or PowerPoint on your phone on the go, Quickoffice Pro is  definitely worth a look. It was a top-10 finalist in the Mobile Apps Showdown at CES 2011 and is listed as one of the 10 must-have apps by the New York Times.
